After years of planning and construction, the UWSP Chemistry Biology Building is officially open and in use this semester.

The Women’s Fund of Portage County is hosting its annual A.R.T.S. Night fundraiser on October 11. The event will raise funds for grants given annually to community groups that provide services to local women and children in the community.

According to U.S. News & World Report, UWSP tied for 12th in the top tier of Midwestern comprehensive public universities.

Mark your calendars, the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra will kick off its 70th season with concerts on Oct. 13 & 14.

The city of Stevens Point is home to another park after dedicating Emerson Park earlier this year.

UWSP faculty earlier this month began its 2018-2019 free community lecture series. The next lecture is to be held Oct. 16 at 6:30pm at the Portage County Public Library.
