SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

Infant & Toddler childcare teachers

Pacelli Catholic Schools Tim Copps Early Childhood Center in Stevens Point is accepting applications for a full-time Lead Childcare Teacher in our 6-12 month, 12-18 month, and 2 year old classrooms with up to a $1,200 sign on bonus offered for all lead teachers with a Bachelor’s degree and a score of nine or above on The Registry.

We are a quality center that provides a warm, nurturing, safe and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced. Availability needs to be between the hours of 6:30am and 5:30pm Monday through Friday. These positions prefer a 2-year Associate Degree in Early Childhood or higher, or working towards a degree. We are also willing to work with the right candidate that has experience in early education. Pacelli Catholic Schools Early Childhood Center also works around school schedules. Currently updated on CPR/First Aid, Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards training, Pyramid model training, AHT Training and SIDS Training. Early Childhood Center Teacher Aides

Pacelli Catholic Schools Tim Copps Early Childhood Center is seeking teacher aides to support our childcare classrooms. Aides will assist with the orderly, efficient, and safe operation of classroom, cafeteria, playground, etc. Where appropriate, instruct children in the childcare room and assist lead teacher with planning. Provide a good Christian model and example in one’s attitudes and actions. Perform instructional functions as specified by lead teacher, including by not limited to: reading with/to children, one-on-one work, small-group work, bulletin boards. Responsible for housekeeping duties as specified by lead teacher. Work in other childcare rooms when needed. Maintain personable, cooperative relations with children, staff, parents, & public. Perform any other duties as may be necessary and assigned by the lead teacher/director. Attends monthly staff meetings and complete 25 hours of continuing education each year. Various positions are available – both full-time and part-time. Hourly pay is negotiable based on experience. High School Golf Coach

Previous coaching experience desired.

  • Adjust coaching techniques, based on the strengths and weaknesses of athletes.
  • Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of opposing teams to develop game strategies.
  • Arrange and conduct sports-related activities, such as training camps, skill-improvement courses, clinics, and pre-season try-outs.
  • Contact the parents of players to provide information and answer questions.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and travel with team to away contests.
  • Counsel student athletes on academic, athletic, and personal issues.
  • Develop and arrange competition schedules and programs.
  • Evaluate athletes’ skills and review performance records to determine their fitness and potential in a particular area of athletics.
  • Explain and demonstrate the use of sports and training equipment.
  • Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations.
  • Instruct individuals or groups in sports rules, game strategies, and performance principles, such as specific ways of moving the body, hands, or feet, to achieve desired results.
  • Keep abreast of changing rules, techniques, technologies, and philosophies relevant to their sport.
  • Keep and review paper, computerized, and video records of athlete, team, and opposing team performance.
  • Monitor athletes’ use of equipment to ensure safe and proper use.
  • Monitor the academic eligibility of student athletes.
  • Perform activities that support a team or a specific sport, such as participating in community outreach activities, meeting with media representatives, and appearing at fundraising events.
  • Plan and direct physical conditioning programs that will enable athletes to achieve maximum performance.
  • Plan strategies and choose team members for individual games or sports seasons.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions.
  • Provide training direction, encouragement, motivation, and nutritional advice to prepare athletes for games, competitive events, or tours.
  • Select, acquire, store, and issue equipment and other materials as necessary.

Major and Planned Giving Officer

As our Major Gifts Officer you will design, develop and implement our major gift program. You’ll be responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with existing major gift prospects, as well as identifying new prospects. An ability to connect with donors and clearly communicate our organization’s mission is key, as you share the joy of giving

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excels at building relationships
  • Knowledge and experience in development, communications, and marketing or demonstrated employment history in a related position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Relations, Communications, and/or Marketing
  • CFRE preferred
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups
  • Excellent writing, communication, organizational, time management skills
  • Must be able to function independently and to be able to seek guidance when necessary
  • Ability to maintain a professional, confidential work environment
  • Knowledge of the local community as well as Pacelli Catholic Schools

REPORTS TO: President of Pacelli Catholic Schools

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Researches, identifies, and contacts planned and major gift giving prospects.
  • Participate in speaking engagements when necessary
  • Writing correspondences, reports, proposals, and marketing materials as needed
  • Building and maintaining donor relationships
  • Working on and updating the donor database regularly
  • Creating a positive, respectful reputation for the organization
  • Finding potential donors from public and private sectors
  • Design and implement a planned giving program
  • Focusing on 125-150 donors, securing major gifts at the $5,000 to million dollar plus level
  • Create and implement moves management plans
  • Work the PCS Advancement Team to develop an Alumni Program

Extended Care Staff

Pacelli Catholic Elementary School-St. Stephen’s has immediate openings for enthusiastic people to join our team as extended care staff. Our ideal candidate will be reliable, self-starter and ambitious. We are a group who work together as a team to cultivate a positive and supportive school environment. Excellent opportunity for anyone wanting a part-time position, including college students. Hours are Monday-Friday 2:45pm-5:30pm with flexible scheduling if needed, possibly 6:45am-8am, and to assist with lunch and recesses.

  • Arrive promptly and regularly for daily program, or on an “as needed basis”
  • Participate in staff in-service training
  • Assume responsibility for snack preparation and cleanup as directed by primary caregiver
  • Implement the daily program under the direction of the primary caregiver
  • Follow through on school discipline procedures
  • Keep primary caregiver informed of daily concerns
  • Ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and materials
  • Assume other duties as assigned by primary caregiver
