Initial plans are underway for a safe return to the Panacea we’ve all come to love, complete with carnival rides, live music, Central Wisconsin’s largest silent auction, food, fun, and more! Last year gave us many opportunities to pause, reflect, and reimagine, so you’ll see some improvements to the event, too, which will be held exclusively outdoors this year.
Bid Online: Central Wisconsin’s Largest Silent Auction
Central Wisconsin’s Largest Silent Auction has gone virtual this year. With over 400 items from Milwaukee Bucks and Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame football tickets to household items, gift certificates, furniture pieces, garage gear, handmade quilts, and so much more, there’s something for everyone! Check out our How to Register to Bid guide and get ready. Bidding opens at 12pm on Thursday, September 9 and closings start at 2pm on Sunday, September 12.
What is Panacea?
Panacea is a weekend-long carnival event full of fun for the whole family! It is the largest annual fundraiser (this year celebrating our 47th annual event!) held to support Pacelli Catholic Schools where 100% of the proceeds benefit the nearly 800 children we serve each year through our childcare, preschool, and K-12 education. We take pride in our laser focus on academic excellence and strong values for our students so each dollar earned at Panacea goes right back into our classrooms.
When & where is Panacea held?
Panacea 2021 will be held September 10, 11, & 12, 2021 exclusively outdoors at Pacelli Catholic High School, 1301 Maria Drive, Stevens Point, WI 54481.
What are the hours of Panacea each day?
Panacea is open from 4PM-11PM Friday, 11AM-11PM Saturday, & 11AM-5:30PM Sunday.
What activities are available at Panacea?
You won’t want to miss the ever popular A&P Carnival rides and games. But if that’s not your fancy, check out Pacelli’s Famous Friday Night Fish Fry or the Sunday Chicken Dinner. Our silent auction, Central Wisconsin’s largest, is open for online bidding all weekend, starting Thursday, September 9 at 12pm. From caricature drawings to the Cherry Tree prize game, there’s loads of fun for the whole family. Shop the Farmer’s Market for tasty treats, baked goods, and farm fresh produce or the Spirit Shop to outfit yourselves with new Pacelli gear.
Don’t forget to try your hand at the Money Tree and Basket Raffle where you can win cash and fabulous prizes! Plus, with our major raffle, you could win a NEW 2020 Cadillac XT4 donated by Len Dudas Motors or $20,000 as well as other cash prizes donated by Friends of PCS, so you’ll need to be sure to get your tickets for that and the cash raffle featuring 11 prizes ranging from $100-$1,000 ($500 first prize sponsored by Check’s Muffler Center)!
At the end of the day, grab a slice of Portesi Pizza, a Feltz’s Dairy Store hamburger, a Ski’s Meat Market Panacea brat, some cheese curds, even some ice cream for dessert, head on over to the beverage center and get your world rocked with music by The Third Wheels on Friday night and Branded on Saturday night. Come back Sunday for the Polka Pow Wow featuring Gary’s Ridgeland Dutchmen & Polish Connection.
How can I help with Panacea?
There are many ways to give Panacea a boost to success. Volunteering your time, becoming an event sponsor, and donating a silent auction item/certificate are just a few ways you can help out. If you’re interested in learning more about how you can be a part of Panacea 2021, contact Jodi Napiwocki, Development Program Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or 715.341.2445.
If comfortable doing so, we are asking each family to sign up for a minimum of one shift during Panacea. There are many different options to fit your talents, interests, and availability. Gather your friends and family to make your shift even more fun. We welcome alumni, past parents, and community member volunteers as well. Following the guidance of the Portage County Division of Public Health, masks will be recommended for volunteers and strongly encouraged for those handling food. If you sign up for a shift but are not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home. Please click the button below to sign up today.
