The following are news snippets from the April e-Newsletter highlighting the Pacelli Catholic School system, individual students, alumni, staff, and members of the PCS community who have recently been highlighted for their accomplishments.

St. Steve’s teacher Amy Parks was featured in WZAW’s Teacher Salute. Congratulations, Amy!

Two Pacelli students recently won the Stevens Point Police Department’s K-9 Logo Contest. Elizabeth Krupka will have her SPPD paw print placed on the K-9 squads with the dog’s name under it and Mackenzie Schlagenhaft will have her SP-K9 Unit print placed on t-shirts to sell as a fundraiser.

Stevens Point Journal placed a senior spotlight on Cailin Firkus in her last season of Pacelli softball.

PCS student Nathaniel received the Kiwanis Make a Difference Award.

On April 25, we honored our faculty and staff at the annual Staff Appreciation Party. Congrats to all celebrating milestones and our special award winners! Thank you to those that donated baskets and door prizes to make the night extra special.

Students had the joy of participating in Opera for the Young recently – what a fun experience for our kids!

PCMS 6th graders learned how to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet in religion class.

Pacelli’s Visual Arts Classic Team had 12 participants in the recent Regional Competition at UWSP and did really well!
