Campaign Reaches $2.9M, Meeting $1M Challenge by Raising Over $37,000 in Just 4 Weeks

We put out the call and you came through in a big way. On March 16, we contacted you in need of just $10,540.70 to meet our million dollar matching gift challenge for the capital campaign.

Thanks to each of you coming together in support of our Catholic school system’s mission, we are happy to report that, over the last 4 weeks, we have raised over $37,000, bringing our current campaign total to over $2.9 million.

This campaign has been truly successful and we are humbled by the support we have received from each of you. To those who made a leadership gift to start the campaign off or a multi-year pledge, thank you for leading the way. To those who made a one-time gift, whether big or small, every dollar we raise matters so thank you. To those who responded to our final calls for help over the last few weeks by increasing your pledge, making a new pledge, making a first-time gift, or making another one-time gift, thank you for helping us get over the finish line of this incredible challenge.

As you well know, the goals of our Pride in Our Past…Faith in Our Future Capital Campaign were twofold – to upgrade our facilities and to allow for greater enrollment and increased efficiencies and, most importantly, to significantly increase teacher salaries as a matter of both economics and justice.

We have done much work already, and are busy preparing for more building upgrades and restructuring over the summer to set us up well for the 2017-2018 school year. We have also established the Excellence in Education Fund, which will continue to support teacher salary increases over the years to come. You’ll continue to hear updates from us in the future as we continue to make progress on these goals.

While we have come so far, we are still hoping to hit the $3 million mark before the campaign is closed out as that will enable us to fully meet the goals of the campaign and ensure Pacelli Catholic Schools are a strong, viable option in our community for future generations of students.

We could not have done any of this without you. From all of the faculty, staff, students, and families of Pacelli Catholic Schools – thank you and God bless you and your loved ones!
