Wisconsin Parental Choice Program

The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) offers families a FREE TUITION voucher if you qualify based on income and residency. The application period is currently closed for the 2018-2019 school year, and enrollment dates for the 2019-2020 school year will begin in February 2019. This program is entirely separate from the PCS tuition assistance application and the deadlines and requirements are state mandated.

How do I qualify?

You must first be a resident of the state of Wisconsin. Additionally, for the 2019-2020 school year, family income of a student applying for the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program must be at or below the amount listed in the table below. Family income includes the income of the student’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s) that reside in the same household as the student applicant. Family size includes parents/legal guardians and their children by birth, marriage or adoption that reside in the same household as the student applicant.

Private schools participating in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program, must provide a copy of the school’s accountability report (report card) and a list of the educational options available to children who reside in the pupil’s resident school district to the parent/guardian of each pupil enrolled in or attending the school.
